Things a good neighbor can do for you:

1. Give you a cup of sugar

2. Let you borrow his lawnmower

3. Water your plants while you're on vacation

4. Make your eyes roll back in your head with his tongue

Katya Tocci has never paid much attention to who lives next door - her career always kept her too busy. She's a good girl, working her way to becoming the most sought after cake designer in all of San Francisco.

But even a good girl's gotta cut loose once in a while, right? So one fake dating profile later, and she's ready to tarnish her squeaky clean image. Little does she know, her fun time is closer to home than she ever imagined.

Throw in a neighbor who wants to corrupt her, and another who just wants to own her, and her entire world is flipped upside down.

Who knew neighbors could be so helpful?

About the Author:
Styloe.jpg

Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

NECESSARY ROUGHNESS- INSIDE ME TEASER cooltext137834330750743 NECESSARY ROUGHNESS- COURTNEY COLE

Necessary Roughness Love is a game best played hard and rough
Nicky…
Nicky Chase was the star Running Back for the New Orleans Sinners.
Until he blew out his knee.
Playing ball is out. In thirty seconds, Nicky went from being on top to hitting rock bottom.
Sophia…
Sophia De Bartoli is the best physical therapist in New Orleans.  Her Italian roots have given her a fiery temper, but her Catholic faith has kept her innocent.
But then she was hired to make house-calls for Nicky Chase. THE Nicky Chase.
He’s known far and wide for his sexy abs, panty-melting grin, and his skill both on and off the football field.   But Nicky refuses to leave his house, so no one gets to see him anymore.  No one except Sophia.
And she gets to see all of him.
That smoldering gaze and that rock-hard tattooed body haunt her every night, but it's the vulnerable, broken man she sees inside that haunts her every day.   Resisting him might be more than this Catholic girl can handle.
Nicky’s a New Orleans Sinner, after all.  And he seems bound and determined to make her one, too.

El Diablo Release Blitz

RELEASE BLITZ
EL DIABLO
USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR M. ROBINSON
COVER DESIGN: THE FINAL WRAP
RELEASE DATE: AUGUST 30TH, 2016

I was ruthless.
I was feared.
I had sacrificed. Myself. Her. Everything...
Living in a world where I was worth more dead than alive was a choice. I was a bad man, never claimed to be anything else. I’ve done things I’m not proud of. Seen things that can’t be unseen. I’ve caused pain that I can’t undo.
It was all my choice.
Every decision.
Every order.
Right and wrong never mattered.
Until her.
She was under my protection, until she became my obsession.
But who was going to save her...
From. Me. The devil himself.

Fate brought us together. Destiny destroyed us.

“Go stretch again, cariño,” I ordered in a dominant tone. Nodding to the barre.
“I’m fine,” she stubbornly replied. Shaking her legs and arms out. Getting back into position, looking at me through the mirror.
I cocked my head to the side, arching an eyebrow. She narrowed her eyes at me, but begrudgingly listened. I pressed play, allowing the melody to once again take over. She placed her leg on the lowest barre, making her ass stick out in my direction.
Tempting me.
She closed her eyes, needing to get lost in the music, wanting to push away all the negative thoughts, already feeling discouraged. I stood, taking off my suit jacket. Rolling up the sleeves of my collared shirt as I stepped onto the hardwood floor. I slowly came up behind her, catching her off guard.
She froze, turning around, opening her eyes. Peering up at me through her lashes. “What are you doing?”
I leaned forward against her ear, grinning. “I’m helping you stretch.” Getting down on my knees in front of her.
Her eyes dilated. The feeling of disappointment replaced with nothing but lust. She placed her arms out to the side, resting up against the barre, supporting her weight. I grabbed her ankle, lifting it up in the air, rubbing along her leg as it was fully stretched, before setting it on the lowest barre. Running my other hand up her side, easing her over toward the extended leg. She understood what I was doing, reaching for her ankle, stretching. Standing back up, bringing her arms above her head, I caressed along her leg again, casually turning her torso so her leg was still placed on the barre behind her.
Her breathing hitched as I touched her all over her lower body. My lips softly kissing the inside of her thigh to where she wanted my mouth the most.

5STAR Review Post~The Debt by Karina Halle

the debt 0 days         The Debt AMAZON
Her life changed in an instant. And he's the only one who could have prevented it. From the New York Times bestselling author of The Pact and The Lie comes a new standalone contemporary romance about those McGregor men. Jessica Charles shouldn't have even been in London when the unthinkable happened. She should have been back at home in Edinburgh, perhaps hanging with her boyfriend, having drinks with her sister or doing yoga with her group of friends. She should have been going on in her normal, dependable life as always. But on that fateful day in August, when a mentally-ill ex-soldier opened fire in public, Jessica's world changed forever. Now single and crippled from the gunshot wounds, Jessica finds herself scared and alone, losing faith in herself and humanity with each agonizing moment that passes. That is until a stranger enters her life. A stranger who makes her live again. Keir McGregor has always been the strong, silent type. Throw in tall, dark, and handsome and you've got pretty much the perfect Scotsman. Except Keir is anything but perfect. He's got a past he's running away from and a guilty conscience he can't seem to shed. But the more time he spends with Jessica, the more he falls in love with her. And the more his secret threatens to tear them apart. He may have been a stranger to her. But she’s never been a stranger to him.

“You’re not going anywhere,” he says. “Sit. I’ll get you another drink.”   “It’s getting late,” I say feebly but I sit down anyway, my leg giving a protest of pain.   “You need something for that?” he says, noticing my wince.   “The scotch will do fine,” I tell him quickly, not wanting him to make a fuss. “But really, I should go.”   “Why?” he asks from the kitchen. I hear the top pop off the bottle, the slosh of liquid in the glass. “Where do you have to be?”   I have to think about that for a moment. He comes over and holds out the glass. “I won’t keep you here if you don’t want to be here. But if you do want to be here, you don’t need to make any excuses.”   I take the glass from him, holding it delicately in my fingers. He stands over me, a massive wall, waiting for some kind of response.   “I just…” I begin. “I…” I take a sip for bravery. Swallow. “I’m not very good at this.”   “Good at what?”   “At…this. Being with a man.”   When he doesn’t say anything to that, I look up at him. He’s got a peculiar smile on his face, his brows raised. “You call this being with a man?”   I clear my throat, feeling my cheeks grow hot. “I mean. I’ve told you before –”   “Yes, how you don’t do relationships, how you don’t do sex.”   “I never said I don’t do sex,” I remind him quickly.   His eyes never stop searching my face. “Then what is it? What are you afraid to say?”   I have the sudden urge to flee and I know it must show because he suddenly points at me and says, “Don’t you dare say you have to go again. I want you to go back to what you said, that you’re not good at this. What is this? Us? You and me? There’s nothing mystifying about you and me, Jessica. You know quite well how I feel.”   I stare at him in shock. I do? “How?”   He looks off with an air of impatience. “I invited you to dinner, you turned me down.”   “But then you said just as friends.”   “And I meant it. But there are different types of friends. It’s up to you to decide what kind we are.”   I put my drink down with a clunk. “Holy pressure.” And now it’s not just my face going hot but my entire body, flushed from head to toe.   “You’re on fire, little red,” he says, his gaze skirting over my limbs in such a hungry way I can almost feel them on my skin. “I have to say, I like this look on you. Hot and bothered.”   “Back with the innuendos again,” I comment but my voice is weak.   “No, no innuendos this time. You came looking for me tonight not because you wanted to confess but because you want something from me. What is it? What do you want from me? What do you think I can give you?”   Jesus. This is so utterly unnerving. His words slice right through me, his eyes still peeling under the layers, trying to get at something I’m not even sure of myself.   If I lie, he’ll know. I can only be honest with him.   “I want…” I take in a deep breath, my eyes breaking away. “I want…company.”   “Company?” He sounds surprised.   I nod. “That’s the truth. I’m lonely. And I’m afraid. And I’m tired of being both those things. I want to be with someone who makes me forget who I am. You make me feel fearless in a way I didn’t think possible.”   There. That’s the truth. Most of it. It hangs in the air, thickening the tension like flour to stock.   He sits down next to me, has a mouthful of Scotch. “Wow,” he says, running his hand over the beard on his jaw. “And here I was thinking you wanted my cock.”   I burst out laughing. So does he, a big wonderful bellow. The tension in the room eases up a notch.   “Sorry,” I tell him when I catch my breath. “I guess they can both mean the same thing.”   He sucks in his lip briefly, his eyes taking a lustful turn. “If you want it to.” We stare at each other for a few heavy beats. Then his focus trails back to my gaze and he says, “Why don’t you stay over?”   And there I have it. The chance to know what those full lips would feel like on mine, what his skin would taste like.
I swallow hard.

This was just the story I needed. I was a little disappointed when I read The Lie but
The Debt blew me away.
I have a weakness for broken, flawed and struggling MC's and that's exactly what Jessica and Keir were.
Just from reading the prologue alone I had a feeling this was going to be great and a very powerful story.

I really liked Jessica and Keir.
Two broken souls who'd experienced trauma and losses in their lives. They both dealt with it differently and at times similar.
It was an intense and emotional journey to witness them both being so broken. I could easily understand their struggle and their reasons behind certain choices.
I was with them all the way.
From that sexy and funny first meeting which was fabulous.
Jessica felt butterflies and I sure as hell did too. Their attraction was obvious and palpable.

What happened from there on out was so beautifully written. Jessica was a strong and determined woman. As Keir said: "a spitfire". But behind that front was a guilt ridden
and insecure woman.
How Keir brought out the light in Jessica was extraordinary and captivating.
Even though they were very attracted to each other early on I appreciated the build up and how comfortable Keir made Jessica around him.
The payoff was spectacular and off the charts hot. Insanely hot. Keir did so many positive things for Jessica and she for him.
Wow!
I think Keir just knocked Lachlan off his throne. He was strong, protective towards Jessica but also a man with a facade.
How he struggled with guilt too was  at times difficult to read because
I came to care for these two people.
There's so much more to this story.
Jessica and Keir had so many layers and it really defined who they were and why they behaved certain ways.

The epilogue was wonderful and definitely made me wanting more from these amazing
McGregor men and it certainly left me wondering and guessing the next story.
The writing was terrific as always and captured me from page 1. I
 want my own Scotsman now.
 A McGregor kind.
