First off let me just say that Kimber has outdone herself
once again. I haven’t always been a dark
romance lover, but it’s all in the presentation.
This story is written so diabolically delicious,
I couldn’t
put it down. I read it all in one
sitting.
Roman is battling a war, one of good and evil within his
mind, heart and soul and it is relentless.
What he wants and what he needs are in constant motion. No matter the circumstances, he cannot contain

Heather is a Badass!
She was raised around all men so she sure is hell knows how to take care
of herself. She also wants what she
wants and will stop at nothing to get it even if she has to sell her soul to

I LOVE CJ Robert's Dark Duet series and Pam Goodwin's Beneath the Burn! <3 Captive in the Dark is my first dark read which made me fall in love with darker and grittier romances ;) What can I say? Caleb/James has ruined me for others and I'll never be quite that vanilla anymore. Lol! There's just so much more emotion, struggles and pain in a dark read that sucks you in... and the HEA is so much more rewarding! Plus, the heroines are such kickass, strong women!
