I read it in one day and when

I was doing something besides reading

my thoughts kept going back to

Blaire and her two men. Sweet Venom picks up right where Easy Virtue

ended and the tension was intense.

I couldn't wait to get back with Blaire.

She was still wrestling with

her choice and her view of herself.

She tried to shut her heart and emotions off

and only deal with what her mind told her to do.

Still her biggest struggle was fear and her past(childhood) but Blaire tried to do right by the people she came to care for. She tried to change herself and grow,

by overcoming her fears.

I loved that aspect of the story, w

hich was Blaire's journey to

forgiveness and acceptance.

Of herself, the people that hurt her and that she hurt.

But to get there she had to share her heart with two amazing and totally opposite men. Lawrence and Ronan were simply

spectacular in their in own way.

I adored them both because they were so opposite

and yet the only thing they had in common was their all consuming love for Blaire.

I enjoyed both of them when they were with Blaire and I could easily understand Blaire's dilemma when it came to them. Mia Asher wrote them to such perfection that I could envision Blaire with either of them,

even though I had favorite.

When Blaire was together with Ronan or Lawrence there was so much heat, lust and love.

Damn, Mia Asher can write some

very sexy and erotic scenes.

On top of that, my emotions were all over the place.

I was gasping, crying and cheering

and loved every moment of it. Sweet Venom was the perfect conclusion

to Blaire's journey.

Asher's writing was yet again spellbinding.

The sensuality of the book worked exquisitely.

All the twists and turns she threw in

were messing with my mind.
