This book was astounding.
Not a typical hilarious, lighthearted sexy romcom of Debra's that I've read.
This was raw, gritty, real life painful dysfunctional family situations with some sensual, sexy feelings, and a whole lot of hope, strength,
friendship and love.
I know that's a mouthful,
but it is what it is.
I loved every letter and feed my addiction for this story from the first word to the last.
I couldn't set my kindle down or
close my eyes until I finished it.
Nix was Mercy and he showed absolutely none when completed a mission. He was calculated.
His Dad was a miserable human being and treated him like crap.
He enjoyed working jobs alone, but he had an unconditional love for his friend Animal. He had few weaknesses in life but Becca was a hard limit.
He lived for her.
He never imagined he would ever be in her life outside the shadows,
but he longed to be.
Becca was raised a bit different. she grew up in a two parent family for awhile. Adored by her parents. Now it wasn't all rainbows and butterflies, but compared to Nix's it really was.
Becca provided Nix with the strength he needed survive completely unbenounced to her.
He became her everything
feeling like nothing.
He brought out the light in her.
She blossomed into the most beautiful part of herself ,
maybe not to her mother's liking but she metamorphosed nonetheless.
The needed each other.
They definitely wanted each other, but is love ever enough?
This amazing tale took my nerves, my libido, and My heart for a wild ride.
It was the best thrill.
The supporting characters at times brought out a lighthearted feeling with a some strategically placed laughs!!! The hooker's name tho!!!!
The writing was exceptional and
I bow to Debra on this one.
I long for Animal's story NOW!!!

Debra Anastasia likes to write from her heart, her soul or
