Jarret and Maybe are incredible together thanks to an intense and combustible chemistry. I enjoyed their growing friendship and how Jarret took his time making Maybe feeling comfortable and safe around him. Jarret enjoys kinky sex and so does Maybe but hasn’t fully embraced it yet. The way Jarret makes her embrace her sexuality was beautifully and very sensually written that I needed a cold shower. These two made each other bloom and shine in every way. Maybe is a strong heroine with her own opinion and mind which I really liked. She didn’t take crap from anyone. Jarret just kept on wooing me with his protective and alpha side. He was determined to show Maybe that she belonged with him.
Buckled is a fabulous enemies to lovers romance with so much heart and soul. I enjoyed it so much thanks to five strong characters and a story with relatable topics such as family, loyalty and love. This series keeps getting better and I’m really excited for the final installment. All I can say is I want myself a cowboy.
