Remember all the questions you had running through your head at the end of Tattered Love about what was gonna go down, or did with Teeny and Trip?  Well you get to find all that out in CL. Let me tell you Lola doesn't disappoint.  That means a lot coming from me because Tattered Love was one the hottest debut  books I had ever read.  WHEW!!! Teeny and Trip's story has a completely different dynamic,  but is still Hawt don't get me wrong!

Ohh Gawd Trip where do I start! He's got a body of a God and a he's a true player in every sense. His ego should have its own area code, but something about becoming a father makes him want to be a better man.  As a grade A asshat, it doesn't come out right even if he means well.  

Teeny is my kinda bitch. Strong, independent, sexy and full of pride.  She ain't taking no hand outs and doesn't want any man, even her baby daddy to just want her because it's "the right thing to do". However,  pregnancy is a mutha fucker and you can kiss your balanced hormones goodbye.  Cuz it does break women down into a weak, puddle of mush at times and make them horny bitches!!

That may just be the break in the ice that Trip needs to get to Teeny but then again reality always rears it's ugly head an attitudes and insecurities are in flying around like a flock of vultures circling a dead carcass.

Twenty minutes late and running out of patience I reached in quickly undid her belt and picked her up, ignoring her squeal of surprise I pulled her purposefully flush against me one hand full of lush ass the other on her hip.

Lowering my head to her neck I took a deep breath in, catching the soft vanilla scent of her blonde hair taking as much as I could get I gently bit her earlobe then ran my lips over the same spot.

“Don’t push me, Princess. I’m clear out of give a fucks and my dick's so hard it could hammer nails. Move that sweet ass before I bend it over and fuck it into oblivion” I growled in her ear driving the point home with a quick swat to her ass.

Making sure her feet were on the ground I let go and stalked for the house adjusting my now very tight in the crotch jeans. I also didn’t miss the soft moan from Teeny before she cleared her throat and mumbled something about assholes and penis trucks then stomped up the sidewalk.

Here's what I can say.  I know I said TOT would blow your mind well QQ is a total Mind Fuck. In the best sense of the word, so much that you want to light up a cigarette like you just had the best fucking sex of your life and you don't even smoke! You know how usually the second book in a series doesn't usually hold a candle to the first book?  Well,  with QQ it didn't only hold a candle it damn near burnt the house down. This is not anything like I expected. It was every dark twisted thing I never wanted to know and so much more! It's hard for me to even go into detail without spoiling this mind boggling masterpiece.  This is a journey of two fucked up people trying to be in a relationship.

This is told in a dual perspective so you can see just what lies in each of their heads and the shit is crazy fucked up. 

They both have power struggles with themselves and each other.  

Q wanting to possess everything that is Tess including her mind. We all know Q's sexy ass is a beast and holy shit if it doesn't rear its ugly head and ROAR!!! So fucking loud that you feel it rumble in your Chest!  

Tess wanting Q to be more open. You know like most women want from a man. She wanted to break down all his walls and make him love her back.

Did Pepper bring the heat? Hell yeah she did! This is some Bonney and Clyde ride or die shit right here.

Q promised he would give her what she needed but will he break Tess in the process? Or will he crack and show her that he loves her back? Can they make it in this fucked up journey called life?

Tell me you don't wanna read this book now! Ya that's what I thought!!!

From the first chapter I was enthralled.  This is written from the man's perspective and that shit gets me every time.  Now not every body can pull it off, but Missy Johnson Thank you for rocking my world.  I devoured this book from start to finish in one night.  

Liam Copper (Coop) has got it made! He's young, single, fine as FUCK and he's a male escort. Not just some Craigslist bullshit, a high profile escort from top celebrities to rich bitches.  He wasn't always the stud he is now.  Hell, growing up he was just the annoying, puny, kinda nerdy, older brother.  Well alotta shit has changed in 12 years! I wanted to be EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. of his clients!

I rest my case!

I mean shit, damn, mutha... Coop where have you been all my life? The sexual escapades he gets into will have you panting like dog and wetter than Niagara Falls, I'm just saying!

At this point,  if he hadn't stole my heart, I would have just handed it to him.  He would satisfy my every last sexual desire,  he was financially secure, sexy, funny as hell with his internal banter and he had family values! Shit the only thing he was lacking was the ability to cook, but hell I could overlook that! 

Now where was I... Oh ya his only other family is his little sister Nic. Growing up he used to tag along with her and best friend Mia so they wouldn't get in trouble.  Ya right, he had the biggest crush on Mia and everybody knew including her. So, the day before she's due to move to Florida she Blows his mind! This being the first time he's had his mind blown. At 15 like most men you don't Ever forget that!

Here we are 12 years later and circumstances have brought these two back together.  They definitely have chemistry and that zing of sexual electricity is evident just in their conversation! He realizes he actually wants to have a normal relationship,  but Ahem... how the hell do you explain your job as an escort to a potential girlfriend? Bad & Dirty Books 5 Star Review for Elect by Rachel Van Dyken

 Elect is the second book in the Eagle Elite series.  I absolutely consumed Elite book one.  That's where we first meet Nixon,  Trace, Chase, Mo and the rest of the crew.   This story line wasn't like most and that's what I loved about it.  It's about family, trust,  friendship, betrayal,  lies, lust, true undying love,  selfishness, greed, wisdom and power.  I was amazed at how mature and calculated Nixon was.  He had learned his position as "the boss" quite well and took it very seriously for a man in his twenties!
 Where was a man like this when I was in my twenties? 
Anyways, this crew had a friendship that was bound by more than just words and they trusted one another implicitly. I'm a Leo, so I'm a sucker for loyalty! Nixon was undeniably in love with Trace.  Not that little puppy love! Not that I'm in college this is my first real love shit. I'm talking  the kind of love that has you bound by your soul. The kind of love you would do anything for even if it meant you would be miserable for the rest of your life! That's some deep shit right there.   

Trace that lucky ass girl had no idea how much Nixon really loved her. However,  she did feel like she couldn't breath without him.   These two are caught up in some crazy shit within the family business.   The mafia has sent one of the original family members in to investigate and  everything goes to hell in a handbag! Time is not on their side so Nixon has to act fast before his family,  and his soul mate are taken out.   The question is can their love for each other withstand any and everything? As the story unfolds,  you will laugh, cry, Tingle(A LOT), be pissed, fall in the love(more than once)and definitely swoon over Nixon. Rachel VanDyken doesn't disappoint in this installment. As usual, I am desperately waiting for the next one!

“How?” I watched as the blood dripped from my open palm.

“Rules.” Chase shrugged. “They keep people safe, right? At least that’s what my mom says.” He smiled. “We make rules and we start our own club. That way, we don’t have to listen to anyone but us.”

I liked it. I chewed on my lower lip. “What do we call ourselves?”

“The chosen?” Chase offered.

“No, that sounds lame. We have to sound… more powerful than that.”

My eyes flickered to the road, and a sign poked into the ground. It said election. “Elect.” I pointed. “Let’s call ourselves The Elect.” It made sense; after all, the president was elected, wasn’t he? We weren’t exactly chosen, but we were making the choice, we were electing ourselves protectors. That’s what we were.

“Who else can join?” Chase asked.

“Tex and Phoenix. They’ll want to.” A weight suddenly felt like it was being lifted off my twelve-year-old shoulders. “Should we shake on it?”

“Yeah.” Chase smashed his hand against mine as our blood mixed. “No going back, Nixon.”

“No.” I shook my head. “No going back.”

I pressed my fingers to my temples and watched, replaying that moment over and over again in my head as the outline of Chase and Tracey flickered in the moonlight. Would he really do this to me? After all the shit we’d been through?

I gauged her reaction, hoping that I would be wrong. Praying to God that Trace would just this once listen to me. Her eyes flickered with interest for a few brief seconds before she looked down at the ground.

“Shit.” I waited in the shadows. A part of me knew this would happen. The part that told me to damn my feelings to hell and ignore all the warning signs that I’d been seeing. But now it seemed like it was too late. I stayed, planted where I was, watching, waiting.

“Chase, you can’t…” Trace shook her head. “You can’t be like this. We can’t do this!”

“We aren’t doing anything,” Chase said in low tones, reaching for Trace’s hand. “Don’t you?” He looked directly at me, although all he saw was a shadow. I knew I was well hidden. “Don’t you feel the same way?”

Trace jerked her hand away from Chase’s. “It doesn’t matter what I feel. It’s not about me, Chase.”

“But it is.” Chase reached for her again. This time her hand grasped his in such an intimate embrace I thought I was going to vomit all over the ground. The outside air was cold as hell as little pieces of ice tried to find their way into my wool coat.

“It isn’t.” Trace sighed. “It never was.”

Chase jerked her toward him. She fell against his chest and looked up into his eyes. “What are you doing?”

Chase sighed. “What I should have done a long time ago.” He grabbed the back of her head and pulled her in for a kiss. Their lips touched.

I had to look away.

The only sound in the night was that of my soft footsteps as I walked away… leaving my heart in broken pieces where I’d last stood. She was lost to me; it wasn’t even the Sicilians that had taken her, but my best friend.

A gunshot rang out loud and clear in the night air. I turned back around just in time to see Trace collapse into Chase’s arms.
