Even though Gray tries to push her away she still hangs on for dear life. She loves! She fights. Gray is such a swoon worthy guy who’s emotionally broken. The trauma he experienced has left its mark. Mentally. But he won’t give up. He’ll do anything for his woman.

Their love and shared history is unbreakable. Gray is Drew’s first in every which way and it feels when they’re together or just around each other. Their bond and connection is palpable. I enjoyed getting to know their history and experiencing how strong their love is. Gray wants to do the right thing which isn’t the right in Drew’s eyes. He fights too. To forgive himself. To get himself back on track and to be worthy of Drew. It’s a tough journey which shows the repercussions of being at war.

Drew’s friend Ruby is hilarious and an incredible friend, support and colleague. They confide in each other. As fun and light as Ruby can be there’s also a serious side to her. I can’t wait to get her story. There’s more to her than meets the eye.
