Kash was undeniably a cocky sexy Alpha,

but a very sweet man as well.

He had a determination to achieve his goals at any cost to his time and energy.

He was smitten with Eden the minute

he laid eyes on her.

I loved how he made it his mission to

treat her like she deserved to be treated.

Totally Swoon worthy and made him even more desirable to Eden and with out a doubt me too! He is the kind of man women hope to meet. Eden was a sassy single mom that had an intimidating baby's father.

I'm glad she found her voice and stood up for herself and her son by leaving his sorry ass.

I know all to well how that goes and Ashley portrayed the situation to perfection.

The supporting characters were

a close knit family and I can't wait

to find out more about all of them.

I appreciated the interconnection

between them.

I predicted a few things but

it took nothing away from the story.

Victoria Ashley has positively

piqued my interest.

I'm coming for the rest of this series

like a stripper on a mission.

“Have you been with anyone other than your ex?” I have to ask, because it seems as if she hasn’t touched anyone other than him. It’s the only thing you’re gonna have on by the time this game is through, so you might as well make sure it’s comfortable. Ready?” “I love your confidence,” she says with a grin. It’s cute on you.” She nods and gets into a batter stance. “I’m ready.” I grin and hold a finger up. “Wait… I’m not quite ready yet.” Placing the ball under my arm, I slowly undo my shirt and pull it open, making sure she gets a nice view of my chest and abs. “You play dirty, I see.” She shakes her head and puts on a serious face. “Show me what you got, big guy.” “You sure you want me to?” I lift a brow and reach down to unbutton my jeans. “That’s not what I meant!” she yells. “Oh.” I smile. “Just checking…” I catch her gaze zone in on my chest, watching it flex as I prepare to pitch the ball. “Hey!” I yell. “Eye on the ball.” “Just throw it,” she demands, while looking up and pretending she wasn’t just staring at my body. “I’m ready.” Keeping my gaze on her, I throw the ball and smile when she misses. “That was my warm up swing,” she says with a small smile. “Don’t judge me just yet.” “I wasn’t going to blame it on my body or anything...” I reach up and catch the ball as she tosses it back. “I swear.” “Good. Because you’d be wrong anyway.” She smiles and gets back into position, clearing her throat a few times and fighting to keep her eyes off me. It has my confidence spiking. After Eden takes all her swings, only hitting one out of three balls, I take a swing, hitting the first ball so far that we just let it go. “I believe that means I’m the winner of round one…” I nod down at her feet. “I’ll start out easy so you’re not naked within the first two rounds. Lose the sandals.” Surprising me, Eden strips her shirt off with a confidence that has my cock jumping. “I’m not worried, Kash. I won’t be naked within two rounds. So don’t take it easy on me.” Apparently, she’s going to play by her own rules, just not the ones she set for the game. Holy fuck… I have no doubt she’s doing this as more of a distraction than anything. A way to get back at me for screwing up her first three swings. There are few male authors that I'm smitten with, but Jacob Chance is one of them. This story is light and refreshing and of course hot as fuck. This second chance romance packs a mean punch. Reagan and Noah have a chemistry that is unmatchable. The both try to fight it but it's no use. Their minds can't fool their hearts or body's but not for lack of trying. I love Noah's filthy mouth and dominant nature in the bed, but his sweet romantic gestures made me swoon. Reagan was scorned, but not jaded. She wasn't painted as a weak female that just crumbled at Noah's feet given their history and I respected that. She was realistic about her feelings. I could truly relate 100%.

This story flips between real time and their past together. I loved they way he wrote it because it wasn't long and drawn out, but just enough information to lay the foundation and explain the reasons why they are so affected by each other's presence. I was completely captivated and couldn't put this down until i finished it, much like any of his books Chance blows me away every time and never disappoints!

I've read all her books and know what to expect from her writing.
And yet Stewart keeps surprising me
with her versatility.
I've been looking forward to reading this book because of its genre.
Stewart delivered and succeeded
on every level.

Holy shit! I loved Camouflage.
Let me rephrase it.
I devoured it!
In one sitting!
What an exciting story with some very strong and deeply flawed characters.
Taylor is the secondary character from
The Excess series and here in Camouflage she's the leading character.
There's so much depth and story to be told about her. She's a feisty, sexy as hell and a very opinionated woman, who knows what she wants and what she certainly doesn't want. She's such a fun and fresh character, despite her broken and tragic childhood.
I was with her all the way and was captured by her story.

The man she comes across is her complete opposite. Daniello is an Italian sexy beast and an alpha with a big A.
Man, I loved him from the first page. He oozes power, strength and sex.
I love the mystery to him and I'm eager to know more about him.
NOW!
The way he controls and his chemistry with Taylor is scorching hot. More than hot.
They create Fucking fire!
Their scenes together showed their need for each other perfectly and I loved how they tested one another.

The story is what captured me from start to finish and what a story it was.
Kate Stewart knows how to write erotica with great suspense. She masters it to perfection and has outdone herself with this beautiful piece of work.
I can't rave
enough about this book.
Just read it and be entertained.
I sure as hell was.

She has won me over

two books in a row.

First of all the level of angst, lust and panty soaking going on that I felt while reading this was off the charts. Daniello exudes a sense of power and dominance the minute he is introduced. He's got a filthy mouth and all the hardware to back it up.

That's my kind of man.

Now Taylor, she's a bad bitch.

She's able to hold her own and she knows what she wants and has no problem persuing it.

These two are explosive together.

They fight each other at every turn and push their sexual attractions past the bounds of complete detonation.

Don't get me wrong it's not just about sex. Both Daniello and Taylor

want to keep their personal lives from each other.

They both have struggles with trust. However they also have formed a bond that neither one can deny,

not even to themselves anymore. Experiencing the development of their relationship was amazing.

I felt their need to connect,

the strength they both possessed and their weaknesses. This focused mostly on Taylor from her back story to full circle. Their are definitely things I didn't see coming and an element of suspense that just added a cherry on top.

I can't wait to find out more about all the characters because

I have become highly invested

in all of them.

once I turned the final page.

Sugar & Gold is part of the Dreamcatcher series. It can easily be read as a standalone but I strongly recommend that you read

How To Save a Life because it's just as fabulous and because a couple of characters make an appearance in S&G which I was freaking excited about.

Ecstatic was more like it.

How Emma Scott incorporated these characters into S&G was done flawlessly and with a purpose. It strengthened the premise of the story and the characters connection.

Both HTSAL and S&G have shades of the paranormal and I love that it's within the characters cause that only makes them more unique and intriguing.

S&G moved me numerous times to tears especially because of Nik and Fiona.

They were both flawed and tormented but for different reasons. Nik, because of his affliction, the ken which made him see, taste other people emotions. At times even hearing other people's thoughts. Fiona was fighting her past which had left her weak and doubting her own self worth. In a way she was re-discovering herself and becoming stronger.

When Nik and Fiona stumbled across one another they both found solace and peace in the midst of their own struggles.

Their union was intense and intoxicating.

I almost felt I had the ken like Nik because I could see and feel everything they were experiencing. It was powerful and emotional at times. Suddenly tears appeared and I couldn't hold them back.

That's a testament of a skillful author

when words can evoke such strong

emotions from a reader.

Emma Scott is a master storyteller.

Her elegant and poignant prose enveloped me from the first page and kept me safely tucked in a cocoon filled with warmth, joy and love until I reached the final page.

There's an artistry to storytelling and

Sugar & Gold encompasses all of that

thanks to Emma Scott.

Florida rain hammers on the roof of the car and hauls ass over my windshield. We’re outside Grocery-Pete’s, waiting for the floodgates to shut so we can get inside.

My eyes are drawn to Grocery-Pete’s gutter. It’s overflowing. The water takes the fast route over the edge, omitting the drain. I’ve stood under gutters like that, or more like penguin-danced under them in Rigita. Paislee dressed me in thick sweaters and rubber boots and topped it off with full raingear. Then we snuck out the backdoor and ran down the street before we got caught.

“Fascinated, much?” Bear grins.
